Time for some homemade gift-giving fun with our guild friends in our annual holiday gift exchange.
Every year the guild organizes a homemade gift exchange for our members. Everyone participating is randomly assigned to one another, so gifts can be exchanged anonymously. We use Elfster, an online tool to perform the drawing. It’s the easiest and most fun way to gift!
The gift exchange happens at our holiday party/December meeting.
Important Dates
Friday, October 17: Sign Up Deadline
- Remember to add a Wish List to help your secret buddy with ideas about your style and preferred gift.
- Out-of-area members and those who cannot attend the Holiday Party on December 12 can still participate via mail. Include mailing information in the sign-up.
Saturday, October 18: Secret Pal Revealed
- Log in to the Elfster website to learn the identity of your secret buddy.
Tuesday, December 9: Gift Exchange Date – at our Holiday Party!

Go to our special link on the Elfster website to join the gift exchange before the deadline date.
Time to Create!
- This year, secret buddies will be exchanging project/notion carriers. Choose from one of the three options below or make a similar item.
- Include a fun extra with the gift – treats, a spool of thread, fat quarters, or even a gift card. $20 spend limit.
- Add a notecard and wrap the gift for your secret pal. Bring it to the Holiday Party or mail it so it arrives by December 9.
