Mac Cox – Quilt Show Chronicles
Join us for an exciting evening with Mac Cox of MA Couture Crafting! Mac is a talented pattern and notion designer, lecturer, and content creator—you may know her from her inspiring YouTube channel. She coined the term Pop Quilture, blending pop culture with quilting to create edgy, one-of-a-kind designs. A passionate fan of a certain ‘magical’ local theme park, Mac has even designed patterns inspired by its enchantment.
At this meeting, Mac will present her engaging lecture: “Quilt Show Chronicles.” She’ll take us on a tour through the colorful world of quilt shows—what’s trending, what’s fading, and what always steals the spotlight. With fun stories and fresh insights, Mac encourages us all to try new things and look at quilting through a bold, creative lens.

For members who are out of town or on vacation, we’re offering virtual access to in-person meetings via Zoom. Each meeting will have a unique Zoom link sent to member emails on the meeting day. These links are for members only—please do not share them, as there is no virtual option for guests.
Meeting Location
Unless otherwise stated in the monthly meeting announcement, our meeting location is the Long Beach Bridge Center located at 4782 E Pacific Coast Hwy, Long Beach, CA 90804 , near the corner of Ximeno. The Bridge Center is located on the back side of the strip mall, above Big 5 Sporting Goods, next to the Circle Marina Car Wash. There are stairs and an elevator to get you to the second floor.
