Block of the Month (BOM)

 A Row-by-Row Mystery Quilt Experience

Join the National Quilt Museum’s Block of the Month Club for Round 7, a once-a-year mystery quilt-along running April–December 2025! This year’s quilt follows a row-by-row format with nine rows (four at 8" high, five at 4" high, all 48" wide), inspired by the natural world and NQM Collection quilts, and designed by Becky, NQM’s Director of Learning & Engagement.

Participants opt in by joining the official Facebook group, where each month’s mystery block is released on the 1st at Noon Central Time. There’s no required color scheme—choose your own fabrics and make each row your own.

The Block of the Month Club encourages quilters to try new techniques, connect globally, and discover more about the museum. You can join anytime, mix and match blocks from different rounds, or create standalone designs.
