UFO and Goals Challenge 2023
It's a wrap! Our Grand Prize Drawing for those completing all four of their projects in 2023 will be held at our January Meeting. Great job and the many wonderful projects completed in the last year- each is an inspiration to the entire guild.

The Challenge: Complete 4 UFO/Goal quilt projects in 2024
Eligible Projects
- UFOs: Any unfinished quilt in any state of completion
- Goals: Any quilting related goal that you wish to finish/accomplish
Sign-up- now
- Submit a list of 4 projects you want to accomplish in 2024
- Quilts: provide the quilt name and short description
- Goals can be Skill, Process, or Outcome oriented
- Goals must be identifiable as quilting related
- Briefly describe the goal intention
- Include measurable completion criteria in the goal description
Any combination of UFO or Goal may be entered into the challenge
- Send the list of Challenge UFOs / Goals to Sandra Johnson at the LBMQG email
Submissions
- Quilts must be quilted and bound
- Goals must meet with the submitted completion criteria
- Send a picture of the completed UFO / Goal project to Sandra Johnson at the LBMQG email anytime and before the check-in months due dates
If appropriate, a short statement of completion may be used instead if it fits the Goal objectives

Eligibility
- Submit all four challenge projects on or before the February guild meeting
- Share ONE UFO or Goal project at our February meeting. Members are encouraged to share the project background and perhaps where you will go with the project, what feedback you want, or maybe any obstacle you envision.
This activity is optional and those participating will be entered in a drawing for a prize!
- February 18: Last day to sign-up with a project/goals list
- Check-in dates: Mar 12, Jun 11, Sep 10, and Dec 10
If you live local - then sign up on the Show and Tell list when arriving at the Bridge Center. Check the "UFO Challenge" box on the list.
If you are one of our out of area members participating - submit a picture of the finished project the Sunday before the LBMQG Monthly Meeting on check-in months..Use the guild email or use the show and tell submission form. Make a note on the form that is is one of your UFO/Goals

Completions can be submitted at any time!
Projects can be brought to any meeting- just follow the same check-in procedure. If there is no drawing that month, the project will be entered at the next eligible check-in month.
Each
completion during the quarter will earn one drawing ticket for a prize
worth $20 at the quarterly check-ins. One completed UFO/Goal = One
drawing ticket!
- July 14: Last day to reset UFOs / Goals projects
Plans change, opportunity strikes, and life happens. We have you – just reset your plan. Every participant is allowed to revisit their UFO – Goals project list one time before SUNDAY, JULY 14
Note: If you will be exercising your one time list reset, new projects added will not be eligible for check in drawing for 1 meeting month. For example: I want to change my list. The new project must be added by the May meeting to be eligible for the June drawing.
Second Chance / Final Drawing
Anyone submitting ALL FOUR of their project goals by Dec 31, 2024 will be entered into a drawing for a prize worth $50.
