Participants are required to purchase one pattern for each workshop session:
Part 1 (Curved Piecing): Choose either Many Moons or Broken Moons
Part 2 (Foundation Paper Piecing): Choose one of Striped Hexis, Equilateral Gone Awry, or Nuts About You
Patterns may be purchased in advance online or on the day of the workshop.

Curved Piecing Made Easy
Curious about curved piecing but not sure how to dive in? This class is the perfect place to start! Jen will walk you through everything you need to make curves easier, faster, and more accurate - no stress, just great results.
Participants will:
Learn techniques for smooth, precise curved piecing
Work with large, gentle curves ideal for beginners

Bonus: We'll explore how contrast, color, and fabric choice dramatically change the look of the quilts. Solids give them a sleek, modern vibe, while bold prints in the circles create a totally different feel.

Workshop Part 2:
Foundation Paper Piecing Basics
Ready to try a technique that delivers sharp points, perfect angles, and stunning precision every time? Foundation paper piecing (FPP) makes it easy to create blocks that would be tricky (or nearly impossible!) using traditional methods opening a new door to quilt design.
Participants will:
Learn step-by-step FPP techniques
Create striking hexagon blocks
Gain confidence using tools that simplify the process
Choose Your Favorite from these Pattern Options:
Open to all skill levels—no prior FPP experience required.
Bonus: Includes a presentation on remixing and reimagining blocks for expanded design possibilities.

About the Instructor
Jen Wagner is a quilt pattern designer and instructor based in Las Vegas, Nevada. With a background as a women’s health nurse practitioner and certified nurse midwife, she brings a thoughtful, educational approach to quilting.
Her work blends modern and traditional techniques with bold design and vibrant color. She specializes in teaching curved piecing, reverse appliqué, and foundation paper piecing, helping quilters build confidence and enjoy the creative process.
Through Snapdragon Quilting, she designs patterns, curates quilt kits, and offers tools and notions that support a smooth quilting experience. She is also a Benartex BERNARTEXpert, an Oliso Ambassador, and a WonderFil Threaducator.
